These will include inventory, transportation and customer service operations. The enablers of logistics are
Logistics Information system, Warehouse Management System, Transportation System, Global positioning System, Automated Warehouse, Electronic Data Interchange, Bar coding, Real Time communications, Radio Frequency Identification.
Warehouse Management System
Warehouse Management System, means a category of software designed to manage the operations of a warehouse.
