Duke and Duchess of Sussex support Morocco ladies’ school

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have met younger ladies in Morocco to indicate support for women’ training.

The couple have been welcomed to a boarding home within the village of Asni by the women, who waved flags and sang songs.

The secondary school is run by a Moroccan group that gives lessons for women from rural areas whose households can’t afford their training.

Harry and Meghan, who flew from the capital Rabat by helicopter, are on a three-day go to to the nation.

The couple’s first official journey to the north African nation is aimed toward strengthening hyperlinks with the UK.

The charity Education for All , which runs the boarding school “has given girls from the poorest villages and most remote areas of Morocco the chance to reach their potential and contribute to Morocco’s continued development”, it added in a later tweet.

Meghan and Harry walked alongside a line of college students and touched their hearts every time they shook a pupil’s hand, as is native customized.
