Italy is leading the charge for eProcurement digital options, with the remainder of Europe nicely on its option to digital transformation.
Research revealed by JAGGAER, the world’s largest impartial spend administration firm, in affiliation with Promo PA Foundation, has highlighted that Italy is certainly one of 15 of the 28 European firms totally utilising full eProcurement digital options.
In its report: Digital Public Procurement: a steadiness between expectations and actuality, JAGGAER revealed that 80 out of 100 organisations use expertise in the tendering part alone, whereas one in 5 use expertise to gather wants and to arrange the planning course of. Only 19% have been revealed to make use of expertise for the choice of suppliers and the administration of provider’s registers and lists.
The survey sought to measure the degree of digital procurement penetration and adoption in Italy and wider Europe, detailing segments of the cycle from e-notice to e-invoice. “Considered in terms of availability of technologies, Italy is positioned among the leading, countries of the EU, having invested many years in developing public and private digital tools covering the entire supply chain,” says the report.
